![]() By your own admission you know nothing about MIDI. In order to get anywhere at all with drum romplers and the like, you DO need a certain minimum level of knowledge. Us giving you a do this do that do the other method of getting SSD up and running will not really help you if you don't have at least SOME idea of why you re doing the various steps. Mine is the 4th edition 15th printing, from May 1989 but it is still available from roland and may even be downloadable It isn't Rocket Surgery - have a read of the reaper manual about virtual instruments and MIDI and if that and the instructions tht came with SSD arent enough to get you started, I have a suggestion for a FREE and very helpful basic MIDI primer. Yeah I followed the instructions precisely. I can "open" SSD in Reaper and see the GUI, but I dont see anyway to load in samples or presets. That is not a Reaper issue but one related to SSD. I'd probably head over to their forums for those answers because it's not a Reaper VSTi and Reaper does not control how the program loads its own content. Usually that's a separate process based upon the install of the VSTi. ![]()
